A unique, sometimes quirky, but always eye-catching photo feature each week.

The Fiat Panda… Squeezed! 🚗➡️🧃

This might be the skinniest spin you'll see all summer.

It’s the world’s narrowest Fiat Panda — a handcrafted, fully drivable, one-seater electric car that’s just 50 centimeters wide. That’s about the width of a barstool, and yes, somehow it still has four wheels and a steering wheel.

Built by Italian craftsman and auto enthusiast Andrea Marazzi, this delightfully slimmed-down Panda isn’t just a visual stunt — it actually runs. Andrea spent a full year on the project, transforming a 1993 Fiat Panda using nearly all original parts, including the roof, doors, and signature styling details. But instead of room for four and a trunk full of groceries, this pint-sized Panda has space for exactly one person. Cozy.

The electric engine tops out at around 15 km/h (roughly 9 mph) and can run for 25 kilometers on a full charge. So while it won’t win any races, it can cruise around car shows and parades, turn heads in traffic (figuratively — it's not road legal), and probably squeeze into parking spots most of us wouldn’t dare attempt.

The rear even resembles the bow of a yacht, giving the car a charming, nautical look from behind. And if you're wondering — yes, it still has a working headlight. Just one.

Andrea built the project from scratch at his family’s scrapyard and auto recycling business, Autodemolizione Marazzi, in Bagnolo Cremasco, Italy. He’s now applying for Guinness World Record recognition for creating the narrowest fully functional car ever built.

Part art, part engineering marvel, and part hilarious optical illusion, this micro-Panda isn’t just a cool curiosity — it’s a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and what can happen when you look at a classic with a fresh perspective.

It might not change the world, but it will make you smile.
